Best of NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) - Part 1

 What you might be asking is what is NAIAS?  This is an auto show that is in Detroit, for the entire nation.   A lot of car designers debut their new designs at this show because it's at the beginning of the year.  Here are some of my favorites:  

This Corvette Stingray might look like the same one that debuted at last year's NAIAS, but it is not.  This one is more powerful and faster, or as Chevy calls it the Z06.

 The next car I will show you is the SUV version of the Volvo coupe concept, this one is called the XC Coupe Concept.  In my opinion it's not really the best name in the world, but the best thing I like about it is the design.

An icon from 1947 gets a new take on modern design.  It might not look like it, but it still is a Beetle.  The Beetle has been taken to an off road level of style with the new Beetle Dune Concept.  This car has a real engine that produces 207bhp, and is sure to go in to production.

Honda debuted the Fit in 2007.  Now they've made a 2nd generation of the Fit, but Honda has a new version of the Fit called the Si (sport injection).

The Porsche 911 is an incredible car, but the 911 Targa is a newer design on the 911 that is more futuristic.  The Targa was not only a new design for the second generation, but it also got a new folding roof system.
